Sandy is a 20-year human resources executive with experience at large privately held and public companies with a passion for building successful operations with positive corporate culture.
Sandy’s career started in the finance industry, where she managed customer service and consumer lending branches while delivering leadership training. She received President awards for highest growth, leadership, and training. Sandy’s passion for employees led her to OneWest Bank where she oversaw the training program for the servicing and retail divisions and partnered with executive coaches to provide professional leadership development to obtain operational efficiencies and strengthen retention. In addition, Sandy assisted in the creation of the bank’s vendor management and employee recognition programs.
Sandy joined Tenura in 2013 as the Director of Human Resources to lead the strategic human resource initiatives around benefits, compensation, employee engagement, performance management, recruitment, and training and development. Over her 20-year career, Sandy has developed unique expertise in building scalable operations with development of automation and technology implementation into HR functions to increase margins while concurrently building positive corporate culture programs.
Sandy was promoted from Director, Human Resource to Chief Human Resources Officer in February of 2017 and is responsible for developing and executing all human resource functions in addition to evaluation of targeted acquisitions.
Sandy holds a BS in Pittsburg State University.
