In 1984, Mr. Mansour started National Telecommunications of Austin, which became one of the largest regional long-distance carriers in the country. After selling the firm to LDDS WorldCom, Inc. in 1991, he co-founded National Telecommunications of Florida (NTF), which became the 17th largest long-distance company in the United States. Following a short period at GroupTel, a metropolitan fiber optic based carrier in Toronto, Mr. Mansour led investors to recapitalize Clearwire Technologies in Dallas, which became a leader in the fixed wireless MMDS market, and he served as Chairman and CEO of Clearwire until 2003 when the company was purchased. Mr. Yeoman started his career in Houston in the oil and gas industry. After spending several years focused on performance benchmarking management consulting in the oil industry, Mr. Yeoman joined with a group of private equity investors to launch a series of private investment funds, which ultimately brought him to Austin in 2000.
Mr. Yeoman’s interest in economics and technology met as he managed a series of technology venture funds in Austin that oversaw investments in local start-up businesses exceeding $75 million. In addition to serving on the Tenura Board of Directors, Mr. McFadden serves on the board of Optimal Electronics Corporation, which provides innovative software solutions for the control and optimization of the electronics assembly process.
Mr. McFadden grew up in Muscatine, Iowa, and has a degree in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa. Mr. McFadden has more than 15 years experience in financial asset management and has been part of a team that invested in more than 45 private companies, primarily in telecommunications and technology. Ali is a financial services executive and attorney with experience in financial services, real estate, and insurance with a focus on corporate turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, company recapitalization, change management, and de novo corporate startups.
Ali started his career in private law practice at a well-respected boutique firm and later joined a national law firm solely representing lending institutions, title insurance platforms, and government-sponsored enterprises in litigation, transactional matters, and complex regulatory matters. His practice focused heavily on financial services laws such as the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and regulators such as the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. Full Bio
Jayne Walters is a 30-year veteran in the finance industry. She started as an auditor and worked for eight years with two national accounting firms and moved up the ranks to audit manager. Jayne left public accounting to work for small and medium companies in manufacturing, government contracting, marketing and financial service companies, and technology start-ups with responsibility for fundraising, international expansion, and regulatory compliance and reporting. While CFO at Agere, the company was acquired by Lucent Technologies in a transaction valued over $400 million. After a year as Interim Controller she formally joined Tenura as CFO in February 2017. Sandy joined Tenura in 2013 as the Director of Human Resources to lead the strategic human resource initiatives around benefits, compensation, employee engagement, performance management, recruitment, and training and development. Over her 20-year career, Sandy has developed unique expertise in building scalable operations with development of automation and technology implementation into HR functions to increase margins while concurrently building positive corporate culture programs.
